About Focsa

Focsa Services (UK) Ltd was established 1989 and has to this time mainly concentrated on waste management, serving public authorities. Focsa UK provides a range of specialized services such as Refuse Collection, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance, Waste Treatment and Disposal.

In 1998, through a joint venture, Focsa reached financial closure on the Hereford and Worcester Integrated Waste Management Project. This 25 year pathfinder PFI is being delivered by Severn Waste Services, a subsidiary of Focsa, and covers Recycling Sites, Transfer stations, Residual Waste Treatment and Landfill.

As part of the Group in UK, Focsa Services (UK) Ltd is the holding company of Telford and Wrekin Services Ltd. Telford and Wrekin Services (TWS) was formed in April 2001, when Focsa successfully tendered for the Environmental Services Contract in Telford. Shropshire. This is an 18 year contract covering the full range of core services plus Highway maintenance.
