Civic Amenity Sites
Bring Bank and Civic Amenity Sites provide a vital service in collecting materials either not usually picked up with regular refuse and recycling collections, or a supplement to the normal collections. Typically items such as white goods, garden waste, soils and rubble, paper, cans, textile, cardboard, bulky household items, small electrical equipment, tv's and monitors, oils, batteries, paint, mixed household waste and scrap metal can be disposed of at our sites.
We have established and operate Civic Amenity sites at several of our contracts and we give residents in the area every opportunity to take part in the waste reduction process.
Civic Amenity Sites have evolved considerably from 'the tip' to popular facilities that are an integral part of community recycling efforts. We take a great pride in providing these facilities and implement regular improvements to increase efficiency at the sites and improve recycling rates.
At our sites we focus on safe site design, providing the maximum range of collection facilities, we use modern compaction and transport equipment, and ensure that we have high caliber trained staff operating the sites.
