British Safety Council
The British Safety Council is one of the world's leading occupational health, safety and environmental organizations, the aim of the Safety Council is to support a healthier, safer and more sustainable society; they are now the largest independent specialist occupational health and safety and environmental organisation in Europe with around 10,000 member organisations and subscribers.
RoSPA
RoSPA's mission is to save lives and reduce injuries.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is a registered charity established more than 90 years ago that aims to campaign for change, influence opinion, contribute to debate, educate and inform - for the good of all.
By providing information, advice, resources and training, RoSPA is actively involved in the promotion of safety and the prevention of accidents in all areas of life - at work, in the home, on the roads, in schools, at leisure and on (or near) water.
Chas
The Contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme (CHAS) is available for use by any public and private sector organizations to use when short-listing contractors, suppliers and consultants (companies) who apply to work for them. It provides information about the health and safety part of their application.
Companies apply to join the scheme so everyone knows they meet acceptable standards of health and safety compliance. Clients from both the public and private sectors are users of the scheme.
Arboricultural Association
The association exists to advance the study of Arboriculture, to raise the standards of its practice., to foster interest in trees through publications, exhibitions and the stimulation of research or experiment. To assist in the training of students in disciplines where arboriculture is a major subject and to co-operate with other bodies having similar aims.
